The polarized UV400 protective lens is made to help protect your eyes from UV rays while reducing glare. If you spend time driving, walking around town, or hanging outside on bright days, polarization helps cut that harsh reflection so your eyes feel more relaxed. The lenses are also listed as impact resistant and FDA approved to help protect your eyes from flying objects. 

Comfort details matter on a frameless pair, and Riptide keeps it simple: super soft, comfortable silicone nose pads paired with gunmetal arms/hardware for a clean, secure fit. Every pair includes a free Detour pouch so you’ve got an easy place to store your shades when they’re not on your face.

You can also use Detour’s Virtual Try-On App to see the look from your phone, and the product page notes a 6-month warranty (scratched lenses aren’t covered, and warranty replacement is limited to once per pair).
