How your custom surfboard gets built
It starts with a conversation, not a shopping cart. Every One Revolver board is designed around your height, weight, ability, local waves and how you actually surf — then shaped by Brian Wright, a retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran and Southern California shaper, and professionally glassed at Pure Glass in Costa Mesa.
Boards start at $725. A $200 deposit holds your place in the queue and comes off the final price.

You don't need to know what you want yet.
Most people ordering their first custom board aren't sure what to ask for. That's fine — working that out is the job. You bring what you know about your surfing, and we figure out the model, dimensions, construction, fin setup and finish together.

Dial in the numbers
Your height, weight, skill level, home break and board history narrow down dimensions, volume, construction, rails, tail and fin setup. The volume calculator is a good place to sanity-check litres before you commit.
Place your deposit
A $200 deposit reserves your spot in the shaping queue and comes off the final price. Everything else — colour, glassing, artwork — gets settled before shaping starts.
Talk it through with Brian
Brian reviews every order personally and fine-tunes the details before a blank gets touched. If something in the spec doesn't suit your surfing, he'll tell you.
Shape, glass and finish
Your board is shaped in California, then glassed and finished at Pure Glass in Costa Mesa — the same glassers used by shapers across Orange County.
Pickup, delivery or shipping
Local pickup, local delivery where eligible, or shipped nationwide. We'll confirm which options apply to you before the board is finished.
Custom Board Details
Every design choice changes how the board feels.
A custom board is more than length, width and thickness. Rocker affects speed and how the board fits in the pocket. Rails affect hold and release. Tail shape changes how it turns. Fin setup changes drive, looseness and control.
That's the whole point of the process — building something that paddles well, catches waves easier, and helps you surf better rather than just looking good on a rack.

Common Questions
What people ask before ordering.
How much does a custom surfboard cost?
Custom boards start at $725 and run to about $1,095 depending on model, size, construction and finish work. Resin tints, gloss coats and artwork add to that. You'll have a final number before shaping begins — no surprises at the end.
What does the $200 deposit do?
It reserves your place in the shaping queue and comes off the final price of the board. Placing it is what starts the conversation about your specs.
I've never ordered a custom board. Is it worth it?
Off-the-rack boards are built to average dimensions for an average surfer. A custom is built to yours. It matters most if you're outside average height or weight, if you surf a specific break constantly, or if you've never quite got on with a stock board. Take the Board Selector Quiz if you're unsure.
PU or EPS — which should I choose?
PU with polyester resin is the traditional build: more flex, a more damped feel underfoot, slightly heavier. EPS with epoxy is lighter, floatier and stronger, which helps in weaker surf and on travel boards. The PU vs EPS guide covers it properly.
Can I get artwork or resin tints?
Yes. Resin tints, swirls, abstracts, logos and custom artwork are all on the table. Bring a reference image and we'll tell you what's achievable and what it adds to the price.
Do you ship, or is it local pickup only?
Both. Local pickup in Southern California, local delivery where eligible, and nationwide shipping. Shipping is quoted based on board size and destination.
