Brian Wright, USCG Veteran and founder of One Revolver Surfboards

Brian Wright has lived a life defined by the ocean. His journey began on the shores of Long Beach, New York, where cold-water Atlantic swells built a foundation of grit and passion.

That passion followed him across the globe during a 21-year career in the United States Coast Guard. As an MK1, Brian surfed some of the world’s most iconic breaks — from Costa Rica and Hawaii to the Pacific Northwest and Puerto Rico.

This unique background gives Brian something few shapers have: a deep understanding of fluid dynamics, performance, and durability in real-world conditions.

The Evolution of One Revolver

What started in a Southern California garage shaping boards for friends and fellow service members has grown into a respected veteran-owned surfboard brand.

Every board is still shaped with the same mission: precision craftsmanship, accessibility, and authentic surf culture.

Today, Brian shapes each board in a Costa Mesa bay, dialing in every detail. Partnering with Pure Glass ensures world-class glassing and durability.
