Milled fibers are the industry standard for reinforcing high-stress areas on a surfboard. Because they consist of actual glass strands rather than hollow spheres, they provide significantly higher tensile strength and compression resistance than Q-Cel or Cab-O-Sil. This makes them the primary choice for "poured" applications where strength is non-negotiable.
