MEKP Catalyst (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) - One Revolver Surfboards

Get a consistent, reliable kick every time with our MEKP Catalyst. This concentrated curing agent is the essential catalyst for all polyester resins, including laminating, sanding, and gloss resins.

Because MEKP is temperature-sensitive, successful glassing depends on adjusting your ratios to your environment. While the standard baseline is 70°F, you can fine-tune your "pot life" by adding slightly more catalyst in colder conditions or reducing it when the shop heats up to prevent the resin from kicking too fast.

Mixing Guidelines (at 70°F):

Pint (16 oz) Resin: Requires 1/4 oz. Catalyst
Quart (32 oz) Resin: Requires 1/2 oz. Catalyst
Gallon (128 oz) Resin: Requires 2 oz. Catalyst
