Stu Kenson Quad (M) - Apex
Longtime surfer/shaper Stu Kenson has cemented his place as one of San Diego's most talented and respected custom board builders over the course of the past 4-5 decades.
He started doing ding repair at the age of 13, and shaped his first board during the summer of 1971.
Stu Kenson has cultivated a dedicated, worldwide following and is know for his performance shortboards, big wave guns, longboards and various other alternative board designs (single, twin fish, twinzer and mid-length board).
Stu's quad set is a balanced template that was designed to work in both performance shortboards, step-ups, as well as fishy boards. The flat foiled front fins are paired with 80/20 foiled trailers for a clean, smooth flow that turns effortlessly.

Stu's quads are part of our line of Apex Series line. Every fin is CNC cut from G10 fiberglass to insure precision foiling and ideal flex patterns. This means increased response and higher performance in general.
G10 is made by compressing layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin and baking it an autoclave to have the maximum strength of any fiberglass available.Learn more about the NVS Apex Series fins here.
