Designed for surf in the 12-25 foot range, the Grant "Twiggy" Baker Step-Up 5-fin setup features a slightly smaller surface area compared to the Twiggy Big Wave model. The front fins have a modified inside V foil, while the rear fins feature a tow foil. This configuration, with a larger center fin than the sides, provides Twiggy with enhanced control in critical surf conditions. He prefers the thruster setup for more control and switches to the quad option in barreling and down-the-line waves.
