The Python Step-Up Surfboard
The Python is a step-up performance shortboard built for speed, control, and confidence in bigger, more critical surf.
Fast, aggressive, and precise—this board is made to handle steep, hollow waves when conditions turn on.
The Python draws from classic 90’s step-up designs with a refined, pulled-in outline and round tail for maximum control at speed. Built to handle bigger days, it excels when the waves get fast, steep, and hollow.
A slightly pulled-in nose improves control and maneuverability in critical sections, while medium to slightly pinched rails keep the board sensitive and responsive when you’re on rail.
The bottom contour runs single to deep double concave through the tail, generating speed and drive while maintaining control in powerful surf. With plenty of rocker throughout, the Python stays loose, responsive, and ready for late drops and critical turns.
