Fast off the bottom and dependable in changing conditions, it blends paddle power, drive, and responsiveness into one versatile shortboard built for surfers who want performance without compromise.
A low entry rocker delivers easy paddle speed and quick acceleration, helping the .38 Special get moving early and carry momentum through average sections.
The medium-low tail rocker keeps the board controlled and responsive when the wave stands up, giving it the drive to push through turns without feeling stiff or overly demanding.
A single-to-double concave generates lift and clean water flow for smooth rail-to-rail transitions, while medium-full rails provide the balance of forgiveness and sensitivity that makes this board work in so many conditions.
Available with thruster, quad, or 5-fin configurations, the .38 Special adapts easily to changing conditions, making it the board you'll reach for whether the forecast calls for waist-high runners or clean overhead surf.
