Brian Wright
Founder of One Revolver Surfboards | USCG Veteran | MK1 (Ret.)
Brian Wright has lived a life shaped by the ocean — from cold-water Atlantic swells in Long Beach, New York, to lineups across Costa Rica, Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest, Puerto Rico, and Southern California.
The Story Behind One Revolver
Built from service, surf, and hands-on craftsmanship.
After a 21-year career in the United States Coast Guard, Brian brought the same discipline, precision, and problem-solving mindset into surfboard shaping.
That background gives One Revolver a different foundation: boards designed around real-world performance, durability, and the way surfers actually ride.
Every custom board starts with a conversation — your waves, your ability, your style, and where you want your surfing to go next.
Why One Revolver Surfboards
Custom surfboards with purpose, not mass production.
One Revolver Surfboards was built for surfers who want equipment that feels personal, performs with intention, and carries the story of the person riding it.
Custom Fit
Board models, dimensions, volume, rails, tails, fins, glassing, and construction are matched to the surfer.
Performance First
Every design is shaped around speed, control, paddle power, durability, and the conditions it will be ridden in.
Veteran-Owned
Built by a retired Coast Guard veteran with a deep respect for service, community, and ocean culture.
“The goal is simple: build surfboards that help people surf better, feel connected, and stay stoked.”
Craftsmanship & Glassing
Shaped with care. Glassed for strength.
Today, Brian shapes in Costa Mesa and partners with Pure Glass for professional glassing, color work, and finishing.
That process keeps each board rooted in hands-on craftsmanship while giving surfers a clean, durable, premium build.
The Journey
From Long Beach to California shaping bays.
