Brian Wright- Owner/Shaper

Brian's lifelong love affair with surfing began on the shores of Long Beach, New York, igniting a passion that would shape his life. With over two decades of dedicated service in the United States Coast Guard, Brian's duty took him to some of the world's most breathtaking surfing destinations. From the sun-kissed shores of Costa Rica and Hawaii to the rugged coasts of Oregon, the serene waters of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands, and the majestic stretches of the eastern seaboard, Brian explored and surfed them all. 

Brian credits his U.S. Coast Guard experiences for enriching his expertise in surfboard shaping. His journey as a self-taught artisan began in his garage, where he started crafting surfboards for personal enjoyment and sharing his passion with friends and family. Motivated by a desire to give back, Brian focuses on assisting fellow military members and veterans by crafting customized surfboards at affordable prices.    

Brian ensures each board is meticulously handcrafted, glassed, and sanded to perfection. He sources materials exclusively from the United States, reflecting his commitment to quality and sustainability. For Brian, every surfboard represents a new opportunity to innovate and learn. His philosophy is rooted in pushing the boundaries of his craft while making surfing accessible to newcomers by minimizing equipment costs without compromising on quality.    

Through his dedication and craftsmanship, Brian continues to inspire and support the surfing community, embodying the spirit of adventure and camaraderie that defines the surfing lifestyle.
