Colorkast Tropical Blue Pigment is a premium, "paste-style" resin colorant designed to capture the vibrant, high-saturation hues of a tropical lineup. This professional-grade colorant is engineered for surfboard glassing, offering a brilliant cyan-inspired blue that remains lightfast and UV-stable, resisting the "bleaching" common with lower-quality liquid dyes.
This colorant is highly adaptable: depending on the "color-load" added to your resin, you can achieve a transparent tint or a solid opaque pigment. When used as a Resin Tint, it creates a "colored glass" effect, allowing the natural foam texture and wood stringer to show through with a bright, turquoise-tinted depth. Increasing the color-load transforms the mixture into a deep Opaque Pigment, providing a bold, solid color-block that is ideal for high-visibility graphics or masking foam imperfections.
